Phantasmat Review

Many adventure PC games take place in settings that look totally impossible. You're stuck in a dank prison, stuck in a trapped room, or pirates on a ship being held together by nothing more than sticks and ropes. Phantasmat breaks all the conventions of what you would expect to see in a hidden object adventure game. Don't be fooled though, because what you get is a very looser interpretation of what you would expect to see in a medieval adventure game, with the varied settings and puzzles taking place in approximately 40% of the time you're supposed to spend trying to get out.
The adventure begins with you, prisoner number 01,200, wearing a straw hat and WaitingPac-Man theme song running through a now seemingly familiar maze. Your prisonmate, number 01,200, spots you and decided to help you find your way out by tracking the radio signals using the objects you find in the maze. You seem like you're quite capable of using this device to escape, so it's no big deal for 01,200 to give you a helping hand.
As you explore your way out of the maze using the radio signals to guide you, you find that different objects in the maze carry different clues to help you. Depending on the object, you might be able to unlock a hidden trigger or something from it. Also depending on the person wearing the hat or the clothing you're using, you might be able to learn valuable information from the person helping you, or you might be able to trade the information for something useful -- this is a true adventure game, after all.
Of course, the real adventure begins when you escape from prison. Not only does having escaped prove to be beneficial to you, but it proves that you have what it takes to survive in jail. Now you have to avoid the law and stay out of jail for as long as you can without getting caught. And that's where the hidden object game 360 comes in.
You play a character that's lying in stasis for unknown reasons. Everyone assumes that you're dead, just like everyone assumes that you're hot. But you're not dead! So this tiny amount of hope earns you a cute heart shape that heals wounds and brings you back to life.
You have to go on with your quest throughout the game, but certain key components of the mystery still need to be uncovered. Each chapter of the game takes you on a new adventure mind you, with new puzzles to solve and mysterious revelations to unearth. There are many safehouses you need to find throughout the game to escape from the current Chapter. But you also need to come across some dangerous vines, which are fast and hurt you if they touch you. You'll also need to escape from angry birds which will drop fruit on you and damage you.
Insider Secrets Extras:
There are other " Extras" to be mentioned in Phantasmat which is the various mini-games you play throughout the game, but these aren't relevant to the main plot, so I won't get to quickly. However, there is a unique key combination system, and you can get to the next chapter of the game without gaining any " Bad " messages, which means you won't be able to buy any more lives from the game shop.
Overall, Real deepest Adventure RPG on the PC requires a lot from its player. Be sure not to get too frustrated when you get stuck - keep use of all the useful objects around you, take a moment to find and use the hint function and visit the internet for additional information which you may find useful later on. And if you get stuck, here is the number of hours you can expect to spend on the game:
 brood 8 hours (PC)
9 hours 6 days (PS3)
10 hours 3 days (XBOX 360)
